Ever since I was young, I always enjoyed recording the lyrics to songs. One time, when I was about 11 years old, I got "caught" writing out the lyrics to a song I liked. The store owner came over to me and said, "If everyone came in here and did what you're doing, the store wouldn't make any money". I felt so bad. What I had been doing up to that point was recording songs off the radio onto my cassette player, then writing down the lyrics that way. Nowadays it's so simple. Google the song name, with the word "lyrics" after it, and voila, there you go.
Here you will find two YouTube videos I made. They are "music with online lyrics". The songs are by Mike Tompkins: Teenage Dream and Just the Way You Are - A Cappella; and Dynamite - A Cappella. Singing along to songs has become so much easier now, thanks to technology.
